Role Overview

As part of the housekeeping team at Villa Maria Fortitude Valley, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry services within a residential aged care facility. Your duties will ensure resident rooms and shared spaces remain clean, safe, and welcoming.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a team to uphold excellent cleanliness and presentation standards in residents’ rooms.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a cooperative and positive team environment.
• Follow workplace policies and procedures carefully to maintain safety for yourself, co-workers, and residents.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrate kindness and a sincere passion for delivering quality care to older adults.
• Good communication abilities coupled with a positive approach.
• Previous experience in cleaning or laundry preferred.
• Friendly and empathetic nature with experience in interacting effectively with diverse individuals.
• Ability to form and maintain respectful, professional relationships with residents and their families.
• Reliability as a team member.
• Competency in reading, writing, and clear communication.
• Willingness to undergo Police Check and obtain NDIS clearance.
