Job description

Role overview

This position is for a Housekeeping Supervisor at a luxury hospitality property in Tabuk, Amaala, Saudi Arabia. The role sits within the Housekeeping & Laundry function, is a full-time non-management job, and is based on-site.

What the job involves

You will inspect cleaned guest rooms, public spaces, pool areas, and similar locations to make sure they meet the required quality standards. The role also includes checking sold-room reports, confirming room status, identifying discrepancies, prioritizing room cleaning, and updating the status of guest rooms that are due to depart.

You will support the housekeeping leadership team with the day-to-day running of the department and work as a coordinator between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Part of the job is to track down and resolve room-status issues with the Front Desk, prepare room-assignment updates, share changes with the relevant teams, and ensure the next shift is fully informed. You will also handle required documentation and paperwork.

Leadership and people management

The role includes assisting management with hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance reviews, coaching, counseling, discipline, and employee motivation.

Standards, service, and conduct

You are expected to follow all company policies and safety procedures, report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete mandatory safety training and certifications. Professional grooming, confidentiality, protection of company assets, and consistent adherence to service standards are essential.

Guest service is a key part of the role: you will welcome guests in line with company standards, respond to needs proactively, support guests with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Clear communication, strong teamwork, and positive working relationships are also required.

Physical and technical requirements

This job requires the ability to handle physical tasks during a full shift, including lifting, carrying, and moving objects up to 55 pounds without help and more than 55 pounds with assistance. You must be able to push and pull loaded housekeeping carts and other equipment over uneven or sloped surfaces, reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, stand, sit, and walk for long periods, and use fine motor skills to handle objects of different sizes and weights.

You should also be comfortable using computers and/or point-of-sale systems to enter and locate information, and able to read and verify information in multiple formats, including small print.

Preferred qualifications

A high school diploma or GED-equivalent is preferred. Candidates should have at least 1 year of related work experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. No license or certification is required.
