Housekeeping Attendant

Overview

As a Housekeeping Attendant at our premium hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable stay for our guests by upholding high standards of cleanliness and hospitality service throughout the property.

Key Duties

• Maintain cleanliness in rooms, suites, and assigned hotel areas, including tasks such as bed making, bathroom cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows and tracks, ensuring rooms are reported clean and ready for occupancy.
• Identify and report maintenance issues to ensure compliance with hotel quality standards.
• Remove soiled linens, towels, and used amenities; restock supplies on maid carts as needed.
• Warmly greet guests and promptly address special requests like extra amenities or specific service timing.
• Attend to public area cleaning based on operational requirements, including balconies when applicable.

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide guest assistance by sharing information about hotel services, local activities, and attractions.
• Collaborate with team members to support overall housekeeping operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Punctuality and reliability in adhering to scheduled work hours.
• Physical capability to handle heavy objects such as carts, large linen bags, and ironing boards and operate cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners, brooms, and spray bottles.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to understand and maintain cleanliness standards across all suites and public areas.
• Awareness and adherence to safety guidelines, including emergency response readiness.
