Housekeeping Attendant

Position Overview

The Housekeeping Attendant will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and comfort in guest rooms and assigned areas. This position requires prompt responses to guest and departmental requests, detailed cleaning duties, and adherence to company safety and hospitality standards at the EDITION hotel in Downtown Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond swiftly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Stock and transport cleaning carts efficiently to designated areas.
• Follow protocol to enter guest rooms, confirming vacancy prior to entry.
• Replenish guest amenities, supplies, clean linens, and terry in rooms.
• Make beds and fold terry with care.
• Thoroughly clean bathrooms and remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items.
• Ensure all in-room appliances are present and operational.
• Organize desks, furniture, and appliances; dust, polish, and remove wall and furnishing marks.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor maintenance in guest rooms and hallways.
• Comply with all organizational, safety, and security policies; promptly report hazards or accidents.
• Maintain personal appearance, confidentiality, and company uniform standards.
• Politely welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate their needs, and assist guests with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests.
• Support team goals and uphold quality standards.
• Handle physical demands such as lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, standing, and walking during work shifts.
• Perform additional reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Candidate Qualifications

• No minimum education requirement; a high school diploma or equivalent is not necessary.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience needed.
• No licenses or certifications are mandatory.
