Role Summary

The Housekeeper performs light cleaning tasks to ensure facilities such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants remain clean, orderly, and welcoming. Typical duties include bed making, linen replenishment, vacuuming, and detailed cleaning of rooms and corridors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide focused, courteous customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish various floor surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies, including shampooing upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures, clean metal fittings.
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste hygienically.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, showers, tubs, and glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed, rearranging furniture per standards.
• Address guest requests and resolve housekeeping issues like spills or broken items.
• Collaborate professionally with coworkers and maintain team efforts.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Schedule and Location

Positions available for both full-time and part-time schedules with varying hours, including rotating weekends and holidays. Work location is at Noland Eastern Shore Rehab, 101 Villa Drive, Daphne, AL 36526. Applications are accepted online.

Requirements

• Previous experience in healthcare housekeeping is preferred.

Compensation

Starting wage is $12.00 per hour.
