Overview
A professional family in Blackheath with two children (aged 8 and 5) and two friendly pugs seeks a dedicated Housekeeper and Family Personal Assistant to join their household. This long-term, full-time role demands a highly organised, proactive individual passionate about maintaining a well-managed home environment and supporting family life.
Key Duties
- Perform comprehensive housekeeping, including cleaning and maintaining home orderliness.
- Manage laundry, ironing, and provide meticulous care for luxury garments for all household members.
- Plan and prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals, demonstrating strong culinary skills.
- Walk the family’s two pugs twice daily to ensure their exercise needs are met.
- Assist children with homework and oversee after-school routines, providing attentive care.
- Carry out school collections when necessary.
- Handle household shopping and errands efficiently.
- Manage appointments and household administrative tasks.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers as required.
- Collaborate with the Executive Assistant to provide additional personal assistant support.
Candidate Profile
- A proactive, caring, and engaging person who genuinely enjoys working with children.
- Experienced in housekeeping, childcare, or household management roles.
- Demonstrates warmth, trustworthiness, and strong organisational abilities.
- Skilled cook with a passion for preparing family meals.
- Maintains professionalism, discretion, and a positive, can-do approach.
- Comfortable around dogs and enjoys an active lifestyle.
- Holds a full UK driving license and is a confident driver.
- Must possess a valid enhanced DBS check.
Working Hours
During weeks when children are present: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
During weeks without children: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The average workweek totals approximately 40 hours.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary of £40,000.
