About the Role
Bern’s Steak House is looking for a Housekeeper to help maintain a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment in one of Tampa Bay’s best-known steakhouses. The restaurant is recognized for its long-standing reputation and exceptional dining experience, and cleanliness is a key part of delivering that standard from the moment guests arrive.
This role supports the day-to-day upkeep of the restaurant through routine cleaning, sanitizing, and special cleaning projects as needed during the week.
What You’ll Do
- Keep back-of-house spaces clean by sweeping, mopping, and carrying out other routine cleaning tasks.
- Clean and maintain restrooms and other assigned areas to the required standard.
- Inspect spaces regularly to make sure they remain clean, cared for, and presentable.
- Report damage, shortages, or unusual issues to management right away.
- Follow company health, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Support special cleaning assignments and other tasks when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to work efficiently while still maintaining strong quality standards.
- Comfort following directions and working with established procedures.
- Clear communication and good people skills.
- Positive attitude, customer-friendly approach, and a pleasant demeanor.
- Ability to work on your own as well as collaboratively with a team.
- Prior housekeeping experience with consistency and attention to detail is preferred.
- Flexibility to work 5 days per week, including weekends and holidays.
- At least 1 year of experience is preferred.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time onsite position. The role requires availability for 5 days each week, including holidays and weekends.
