About the Role

An international hotel group is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead a new hotel development during its pre-opening phase in Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia. This role offers a unique chance to spearhead the establishment of hotel operations, shaping its culture and guiding the property towards a successful launch scheduled for 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the hotel’s entire pre-opening process, ensuring all preparations align with strategic objectives.
• Recruit, mentor, and energize a top-tier leadership and operational team.
• Define and embed the operational culture, service standards, and guest experience benchmarks.
• Foster strong collaborations with the property owners and critical stakeholders.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize business performance.
• Guarantee the hotel is fully prepared and operational for its official opening.

Candidate Requirements

• Current or recent General Manager experience within the Saudi Arabian hospitality sector is mandatory.
• Fluency in Arabic language is essential for effective communication.
• Demonstrable background in family leisure, resort, or destination-centric hospitality settings.
• Experience with international hotel brands or recognized global hospitality firms.
• Deep understanding of the hospitality market in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven skills in managing stakeholders and collaborating closely with ownership entities.
• Previous involvement in hotel pre-opening projects is highly valued.
• A proactive, hands-on leadership style combined with a passion for developing staff and cultivating a positive hotel culture.

Compensation and Benefits

A competitive expatriate remuneration package ranging approximately SAR 40,000 to 45,000 net monthly is offered, inclusive of expatriate benefits. Family schooling support may also be considered where applicable.
