Role overview

The Hospitality Attendant, also referred to as a Butler / Hospitality Attendant, supports guests and executives by delivering polished hospitality service. The role centers on serving refreshments, arranging food and meeting spaces, keeping service areas clean and orderly, and maintaining a professional, welcoming atmosphere at all times.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide courteous service of food, drinks, tea, coffee, and other refreshments to guests and management.
  • Set up and tidy dining spaces, meeting rooms, and hospitality areas before and after they are used.
  • Keep pantries, kitchenettes, dining zones, and service tools clean, organized, and ready for use.
  • Monitor stock levels of hospitality supplies and flag shortages when they occur.
  • Help prepare rooms and facilities for meetings, events, and special occasions.
  • Work in line with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements.
  • Respond quickly and politely to hospitality-related requests.
  • Clear used dishes and utensils, then ensure they are washed, stored, and handled properly.
  • Preserve confidentiality and display professionalism when serving executives and VIP visitors.
  • Escalate equipment issues or maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
  • Take on additional hospitality duties as needed.

Qualifications and requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
  • Prior exposure to hospitality, hotel operations, catering, or a similar environment is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of food hygiene and safe handling practices.
  • Ability to communicate in basic English; Arabic will be considered a plus.
  • Well-groomed personal presentation with strong customer service etiquette.

Working conditions

  • This position is based in an indoor hospitality setting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
