Hospitalist

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Hospitalist specializing in Internal Medicine to join a 25-bed critical access hospital located in a serene rural town in West Virginia. Compensation and Benefits

• Annual guaranteed salary starting at $300,000
• Sign-on bonus of $20,000
• Relocation support provided
• Student loan assistance available through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC)

Responsibilities and Work Environment

• Provide hospitalist care in an Internal Medicine capacity
• Work a seven days on, seven days off schedule
• Manage 5 to 8 patients per day, with the ability to leave when duties are fulfilled
• No intensive care unit (ICU) responsibilities
• Support available from a 24/7 emergency department and pulmonary staff on site

Qualification Requirements

• Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
