Role overview
Orchid Pharma is looking for a Hospital Sales Executive to support its hospital-focused formulations business in Ahmedabad. The role reports to the Key Account Manager and is centered on driving hospital sales for the company’s critical care portfolio, with a particular emphasis on injectable antibiotics and antifungals.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for assigned key accounts, covering both primary and secondary sales while strictly following commercial policies.
- Shape and execute the sales plan by studying each key account in depth, including its systems, processes, key decision-makers, influencers, and antibiotic consumption patterns.
- Review market movement and competitor activity, and use sales data from our own portfolio to evaluate SKU performance, volumes, net pricing, and discount trends.
- Develop strong direct relationships with key stakeholders in important hospitals, such as KOLs, HODs, and CIP contacts, under the supervision of the Key Account Manager.
- Present and promote products within the specialized therapeutic area assigned to the role, with guidance from the Key Account Manager.
- Work with targeted doctors to encourage prescriptions through effective, ethical selling methods.
- Ensure all product promotion follows company-approved marketing plans and compliance standards.

Experience
The employer prefers candidates with 1 to 6 years of experience in sales management, product management, or key account management, along with a strong history of meeting or exceeding targets.
Industry preference
Background in pharmaceuticals is preferred, especially in critical care or antimicrobials.
