Job description
Overview
Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District invites applications for a hands-on Horticulturist and Lead Curator to oversee and enrich the Conservation Garden's living plant collection. This role integrates advanced horticultural practices, irrigation diagnostics, plant collection stewardship, staff training, garden planning, and public engagement.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will collaborate with seasoned garden professionals, manage and mentor seasonal personnel, and spearhead the introduction and acclimatization of new plant species within the Garden.
Working Conditions
This role is largely outdoors, subject to various weather conditions, and demands a dynamic 40-hour weekly schedule that occasionally requires evening and weekend work.
