Overview
The HORECA Regional Manager specializing in Catering & Institutions oversees field sales activities aimed at meeting established sales and collection objectives. This role demands effective management of customer relations to ensure excellent service and prompt resolution of issues within the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team on daily route plans to conduct customer visits.
- Engage with the sales team to review order requirements, assist with release orders, and monitor warehouse stock levels.
- Provide insights on competitor promotions, pricing, and market sales trends to the Horeca Channel Manager.
- Execute sales promotions as directed to maximize impact.
- Coordinate with the Sales Coordinator to track and clarify order details.
- Generate and submit daily sales status reports to the Channel Manager.
- Maintain professional customer interactions, addressing inquiries efficiently.
- Work with logistics to ensure prompt delivery of customer orders.
- Manage customer complaints related to returned goods, compiling necessary information and forwarding it to logistics for resolution.
- Drive the sales team towards achieving collection targets, monitoring progress closely.
- Escalate overdue payments or collection issues to the Channel Manager.
- Prepare and communicate collection status reports regularly.
- Support accurate cash and check handling by collaborating with sales and cashier teams to ensure proper accounting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or marketing.
- Minimum of 7 years sales experience within the FMCG sector.
- Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English languages is essential.
