About the Role

We are seeking Hood Cleaning Technicians located in Tallahassee, FL, to play a crucial role in maintaining fire safety standards in commercial kitchens. This practical, fast-paced job primarily involves overnight shifts during which you will clean exhaust systems, record work completed, and collaborate with your team to ensure excellent outcomes.

Training Details

All new hires undergo paid, hands-on training at our headquarters in Woodstock, GA. This training phase generally lasts between 6 and 12 weeks, depending on your background and performance; those with previous experience can finish as quickly as 2 to 4 weeks. During training, the company provides accommodations and meals, and trainees earn between $18 and $23 per hour.

Post-Training Employment

Upon successful completion of training, technicians return to Tallahassee to work full-time. Compensation at this stage is performance-based with weekly earnings ranging from $1,350 to over $2,000. Employees receive company uniforms, necessary equipment, and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems up to fire safety standards
• Safely operate cleaning tools, lifts, and vehicles
• Work overnight shifts, typically Sunday through Thursday nights
• Capture before-and-after photographs and maintain service reports
• Provide professional service to customers on site
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks within deadlines

Qualifications

• No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided
• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physically capable of lifting over 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working on rooftops
• Comfortable with night shift schedules
• Dependable, attentive to detail, and committed to safety
