Job description
Position Overview
The Department of Education and Training invites applications for the role of Home Liaison Officer located at Mount Allan School in Yuelamu, Northern Territory. This role focuses on improving student attendance and fostering successful educational experiences by developing strong communication links with students, their families, school staff, and community partners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between students, families, educators, and community members to enhance student engagement and attendance.
- Promote and support the creation of sustainable networks connecting families, schools, students, and external organizations for integrated service delivery.
- Conduct follow-up home visits for students who have poor attendance to encourage regular school participation.
Compensation and Experience
The remuneration package ranges from $84,182 to $95,976 annually, which includes a salary component between $71,156 and $81,125. The role corresponds to the Administrative Officer Level 4 (92%) classification.
