About the Role
Join a team that values making a meaningful impact in people’s lives. This position focuses on providing one-to-one support to individuals in their homes and in the community, with an emphasis on encouragement, skill development, and helping each person work toward their personal goals.
The organization serves mental health recipients across Southeast Michigan and offers both full-time and part-time opportunities. The role is based in Commerce, MI and is performed onsite in clients’ homes and community settings.
What You’ll Do
You’ll support recipients directly in a home setting, guide them through daily and skill-building activities, and accompany them into the community to help reinforce independence and progress outside the home.

Requirements
- Must be caring, patient, and dependable
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills are important
- Ability to work on your own while following care plans
- Comfort with supporting people with different abilities
- Reliable transportation for all assignments
- Must be able to pass required background checks and screenings
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
