Job summary

Scotiabank’s Non-Branch Sales Force in Jamaica is hiring driven, high-achieving professionals to join its External Sales Team as Home Financing Specialists. The position is suited to self-starting candidates who thrive in consultative selling and building productive partnerships.

What you will do

• Build and sustain strong working relationships with realtors, property developers, attorneys, and other stakeholders in the real estate market.
• Market and sell home financing solutions as the core responsibility of the role.
• Spot opportunities to recommend additional products such as personal loans and credit cards.
• Source, develop, and oversee mortgage leads received through referral partners.
• Work toward, and strive to surpass, both personal and team sales goals.

Education, experience, and other requirements

• At least 5 CXC subjects are required, including Mathematics and English.
• A minimum of 2 years’ background in sales, financial services, or relationship management is considered an advantage.
• Applicants should bring strong networking, negotiation, and people skills.
• The role requires the ability to work independently in a performance-based environment.
• Working knowledge of retail banking products, especially loans and credit cards, would be beneficial.
• A dedicated vehicle with unlimited access is mandatory.
