Role Overview

We seek compassionate and dependable Home Care Workers to support seniors in the Gold Coast area, including North Gold Coast (Coomera), Central Gold Coast, and South Gold Coast (Tweed Heads). The role involves providing individualized care to help clients maintain their independence in their homes while respecting their unique histories, cultures, and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering personal care services tailored to individual client needs.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Offering domestic assistance such as housekeeping.
  • Facilitating in-home respite care.
  • Driving clients safely for transportation to appointments or social outings.
  • Preparing nutritious meals to support client health.
  • Supporting clients living with dementia through specialized care.
  • Assisting with social support tasks like shopping and accompanying clients on outings.

Candidate Requirements

  • Pursue respectful and empathetic interactions with diverse senior clients.
  • Exhibit kindness, strong communication skills, and effective time management.
  • Be self-driven with a positive work ethic focused on client-centered care.
  • Maintain reliability, honesty, and a warm approach.
  • Comply with safe working practices and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Hold relevant qualifications such as Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Social Support, or possess equivalent experience within residential care environments.
  • Possess a current valid driver's license and a registered, fully insured vehicle.
  • Have a current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Maintain a current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Hold a Working with Children (Blue Card) clearance.
