Role Summary
We are seeking compassionate Home Care Workers available to serve clients across the Gold Coast region, including North Gold Coast (Coomera), Central Gold Coast, and South Gold Coast (Tweed Heads). The role involves providing personalized support tailored to each client's needs, such as:
- Personal care assistance
- Companion services
- Household chores and domestic help
- In-home respite care
- Transportation support
- Meal preparation
- Dementia care
- Social support including shopping assistance and community outings
Key Attributes & Requirements
The ideal candidates will display genuine respect for the unique personalities and cultural values of our senior clients. Essential qualities include empathy, kindness, exceptional communication, and sound time management. Candidates must be self-starting, dependable, and committed to maintaining professional standards and safe work practices.
Applicants must hold relevant qualifications such as Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Social Support, or have equivalent experience working in care facilities. Additionally, the following are required:
- Valid driver's license
- Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
- Registered and well-insured personal vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Working with Children clearance (Blue Card)
