Key Responsibilities
- Organize and manage daily caregiver schedules to guarantee continuous care for clients.
- Assign caregivers to clients by evaluating care requirements, availability, skill sets, and interpersonal compatibility.
- Act swiftly to adjust schedules in case of caregiver absences or urgent staffing needs.
- Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders including clients, families, caregivers, referral sources, and office personnel.
- Keep up-to-date, precise records of scheduling and employee documentation.
- Verify caregiver credentials, availability, and compliance prior to shift assignments.
- Support onboarding processes and provide administrative assistance as needed.
- Monitor open shifts proactively and arrange coverage effectively.
- Ensure confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations, company policies, and applicable employment laws.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as required by management.
Candidate Requirements
- At least three years of experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, customer service, healthcare, home care, or related administrative roles.
- Associate degree or some college coursework preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted.
- Preferably experience in home care scheduling.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with aptitude for managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and willingness to learn new scheduling and electronic records software.
- Sound judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- Dependability, punctuality, and keen attention to detail.
- Capability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with the team.
- Open to feedback and adaptable to shifting priorities.
- Availability for occasional evening and weekend work.
- Reliable transportation and presence at the Santa Clarita office as required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.

Additional Information
This is a part-time, onsite position located in Santa Clarita, CA, with approximately 25 working hours per week and flexibility required for occasional evenings and weekends.
