Job description

Job Overview

This role involves intensive cleaning responsibilities across various environments including commercial buildings, residences, and restaurants. The candidate will be expected to frequently travel to different work locations and perform physically demanding cleaning tasks.

Language & Education

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Completion of secondary (high) school or equivalent experience is necessary.

Experience

Candidates should have from 7 months up to less than one year of experience, particularly in cleaning roles involving windows and use of specialized equipment.

Work Environment & Duties

  • Tasks include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing floors and stairs.
  • Use of industrial vacuum cleaners to clear debris and other wastes.
  • Empties trash receptacles and cleansing bathrooms and fixtures thoroughly.
  • Wash interior windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Relocate heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Perform cleaning duties with minimal supervision.
  • Operate and maintain heavy cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaners, polishers, power sweepers, steam cleaners, power tools, and upholstery machines.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchens and associated work areas.

Physical Requirements

  • Tasks involve repetitive motions and handling heavy loads.
  • Job demands physical endurance including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
