Job description
Role overview
As a Cleaner at Soho House, you will help keep the club spotless, welcoming, and hygienic at all times. Your care, professionalism, and strong eye for detail will help uphold the property’s expected standard of presentation and service.
You’ll partner with the Housekeeping and Facilities teams to make sure member areas and back-of-house spaces remain clean, stocked, and ready for use throughout the day.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning across allocated areas, including floors, surfaces, washrooms, and communal spaces.
- Regularly disinfect frequently touched points such as handles, counters, and railings.
- Restock essential supplies like soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and sanitising products.
- Assist with deep-cleaning and scheduled maintenance work when needed.
- Keep cleaning tools and products tidy, safe, and in good condition.
- Flag maintenance problems, health and safety concerns, or low stock levels to the supervisor.
- Act promptly and discreetly when dealing with spills, accidents, or urgent cleaning needs.
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and COSHH requirements.
- Interact with members and colleagues in a polite, professional manner.
What we’re looking for
- Prior experience in a cleaning position, ideally in hospitality, offices, or public-facing venues.
- Working knowledge of cleaning methods and hygiene standards.
- Confidence using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and mops.
- A dependable, self-driven approach with the ability to work alone.
- Good organisation, timekeeping, and communication skills.
- Experience in a busy high-profile setting of up to 2 years is preferred.
- Knowledge of COSHH and safe chemical use is an advantage.
- Background in luxury environments or busy venues is desirable.
- Availability for early, late, or weekend shifts is desirable.

Compensation
The pay rate for this role in the UK is £14.50 per hour.
