About the role
This remote contract role is for registered nurses who can contribute to healthcare data labelling, training, and workflow analysis for AI-focused healthcare products. The work involves reviewing clinical information, spotting quality issues, and helping improve product and process design.
The organization works with top AI research teams and is backed by well-known investors. The position is fully remote and offers hourly compensation.
Compensation
The pay range for this role is $60 to $80 per hour.
What you will do
- Examine clinical records and documentation to check for accuracy, completeness, and overall quality.
- Study healthcare workflows and suggest ways to make them more efficient.
- Read patient records and clinical notes to support product development work.
- Find missing information, inconsistencies, and unusual edge cases in documentation.
- Work with product, engineering, and operations teams to improve AI-based healthcare tools.
- Follow healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and accepted best practices.
Must-have qualifications
- An active Registered Nurse license is required.
- You should have at least 3 to 5+ years of experience in clinical nursing.
- A solid understanding of clinical documentation and healthcare workflows is necessary.
- Experience using EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar systems is expected.
- You should bring strong analytical thinking, communication ability, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred background
- Experience in CDI, case management, utilization review, or quality improvement is an advantage.
- Exposure to healthcare technology, AI tools, or digital health products is preferred.
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams is beneficial.
