About the role
The Healthcare Recruiter - Therapy plays a key part in hiring qualified nursing and therapy professionals for home health branches. This position owns the recruitment process end to end, including sourcing, engagement, assessment, and onboarding. The role calls for someone with solid healthcare recruiting experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment. The role is remote, but the employee must live in one of the states where the company operates, such as Texas, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and other eligible states.
Responsibilities
- Handle the full hiring cycle for home health branches, from candidate search through onboarding.
- Create and execute focused hiring plans to bring in strong nursing and therapy talent.
- Use a variety of channels such as job boards, social networks, professional events, and referrals to find candidates.
- Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and evaluate qualifications and workplace fit.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and shape recruitment plans accordingly.
- Keep the recruiting pipeline orderly and efficient while maintaining timely communication with applicants and internal teams.
- Keep up with hiring trends and evolving best practices to improve recruitment outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or healthcare recruiting, especially for nursing and therapy roles.
- Demonstrated ability to source and successfully hire healthcare professionals.
- Good knowledge of recruitment practices, including sourcing methods, candidate evaluation, and interviewing.
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills for working with candidates and hiring leaders.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting.
- Prior experience with applicant tracking systems such as iCIMS is preferred.
- Understanding of healthcare standards and licensing rules is an added advantage.
