About the Role

As a Healthcare Recruiter at Ascentria Care Alliance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a workforce that transforms lives. This position is primarily remote (90%) with occasional travel to locations in Connecticut. Please note that only applicants residing in Connecticut will be considered. Our organization supports vital services for diverse populations including children, elders, refugees, and families across New England.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust talent pipelines beyond just filling open positions.
• Utilize creative sourcing methods including job boards, social media, professional networks, and community engagements.
• Apply advanced sourcing techniques such as Boolean searches effectively and efficiently.
• Engage not only active but also passive candidates to build a strong talent pool.
• Analyze and interpret labor market trends strategically to optimize recruitment efforts.
• Conduct comprehensive screening processes focusing on both skills and alignment with organizational values.
• Lead behavioral interviews with a strong focus on candidate experience.
• Ensure proactive communication and timely progression throughout the recruitment process.
• Handle compensation recommendations with thoughtful equity and compliance adherence.
• Maintain high standards for fair, defensible, and mission-aligned hiring decisions.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Demonstrable full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably with healthcare recruiting expertise, with long-term care knowledge being an advantage.
• Proficiency in sourcing techniques including Boolean search skills.
• Ability to advise and collaborate confidently with hiring managers.
• High levels of accountability and resilience in managing challenging recruitment demands.
• Familiarity with high-volume and mission-critical hiring environments.
• Compassionate communication and integrity in all candidate engagements.
• A passionate, can-do attitude with a strong team orientation.
