Healthcare Payroll Consultant

Role Overview

Acuvance ROI is looking for a seasoned Healthcare Payroll Specialist to temporarily fill a critical position for a healthcare client during a transition period. This 12-month contract requires maintaining uninterrupted and accurate payroll operations while the client's lead payroll expert shifts focus to a Workday Payroll implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle payroll processing employing the client’s existing Paragon-based procedures.
• Timely identification and resolution of payroll discrepancies to ensure error-free pay cycles.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to guarantee scheduled bank file transfers and monetary transactions for each payroll period.
• Handle Personnel Action Forms and accurately reflect their effects on employee compensation.
• Provide consistent operational support during the client's internal payroll lead's involvement in the Workday deployment.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Over five years of hands-on payroll processing experience, preferably with exposure to healthcare environments such as hospitals or health systems.
• Proven capability to adopt and adhere to pre-existing business workflows and combine manual and system-oriented payroll activities.
• Exceptional accuracy and dependability in delivering error-free payroll punctually.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote setup while effectively coordinating with distributed teams.
• Willingness to occasionally travel onsite for building professional relationships if necessary.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in managing payroll transitions or system implementations.
• Familiarity with Workday Payroll, providing beneficial insight into the client’s context, though not mandatory.
