Role Overview

Within the Global Finance team, you will partake in crafting innovative business solutions for one of the world's largest healthcare companies. This role provides comprehensive access to a network of finance professionals across more than 60 countries, offering ample opportunities to enhance your skills and advance your career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and the Johnson & Johnson Credo while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Oversee the execution of accounting and daily operations in the Intercompany Accounting process for complex Managed Regional Companies (MRCs).
  • Complete timely closing and execution of financial periods according to the closing calendar and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), fully complying with Internal Audit, Compliance, and SOX requirements.
  • Take responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, and validity of reported financial data within the designated process/entity scope.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Worldwide Procedures and compliance standards relevant to your area.
  • Regularly perform Balance Sheet reconciliations to reduce outstanding items.
  • Provide on-the-job guidance and training to new team members and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partners.
  • Assist auditors and legal authorities during investigations and compliance activities.
  • Apply and enforce global policies and procedures, identifying compliance risks and recommending improvements.
  • Ensure robust internal controls are in place for achieving satisfactory internal and external audit ratings.

Talent Management

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts for new team members.

Collaboration and Strategy

  • Implement global strategies and solutions aligned with organizational taxonomy.
  • Support Process Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Operational Key Contacts (OKCs) to ensure consistent cross-sector, cross-region, and cross-process alignment and documentation.

Innovation and Process Improvement

  • Develop and implement innovative ideas and improvements to enhance process efficiency, adhering to global standards.

Qualifications

  • At minimum, a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft tools including MS Teams.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Outstanding academic record and/or noteworthy achievements.
  • Willingness to embrace new insights and adapt working methods accordingly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous full-time work experience.
  • Experience in summer or part-time jobs.
  • Willingness to travel as business demands.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts aligning with various global regions such as Americas, EMEA, Asia.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
