Job Details
The Healthcare Major Account Executive is tasked with expanding UPS's revenue streams by establishing new business connections and managing existing client partnerships. The focus is on major pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical technology, diagnostics, and dental manufacturers and distributors within designated regions.
This role drives business plans for sales and revenue targets by developing strategic sales approaches and creating compelling customer solutions aligning healthcare sector needs with UPS’s diverse Small Package and Freight Forwarding services.
Responsibilities
- Achieve targeted sales numbers and grow market share within the healthcare sector.
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities and secure potential clientele.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers both within customer organizations and UPS.
- Manage a solid sales pipeline using Salesforce and other tools to track progress.
- Oversee existing accounts, devise strategic plans, handle contract renewals, and ensure compliance.
- Keep abreast of competitor activity and industry developments to share insights and leverage competitive intelligence across teams.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in any field is required.
- At least two years of experience in complex sales, preferably within pharmaceutical, medical technology, or laboratory industries.
- Willingness to travel as needed for business purposes.
- Strong customer-oriented mindset with the ability to develop mutually beneficial solutions.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- A collaborative team player who is highly motivated, passionate, and results-focused.
- Possession of a personal vehicle is an advantage.
