About the Role
The Care Team Ireland is looking for qualified Healthcare Assistants to join its weekend support team in Ireland. This nurse-led home healthcare provider supports adults in the community with long-term and complex needs, including physical and intellectual disabilities as well as personal and social care for older adults. The organisation places strong emphasis on teamwork and employee support.

Requirements
- You should be a caring and dependable person with a strong motivation to deliver excellent support.
- You must be actively progressing toward QQI Level 5, with the Care Skills and Care of the Older Person modules already completed.
- A valid People Moving & Handling Certificate is required.
- You need a full EU driving licence and access to your own car, as this is essential for the job.
- Strong spoken and written English skills are necessary.
- You must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday.
- Work references and character references must be available.
- You should be ready to complete Garda Vetting; the fee will be covered by the employer.
- Previous experience supporting people with disabilities, or dementia-related training, will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and in-home assistance to clients.
- Carry out care tasks in line with individualised care plans.
- Support clients in maintaining independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
- Record daily care activities accurately and flag any changes in a client’s condition.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
- Work closely with supervisors and the wider care team to ensure consistent support.
