The position of Healthcare Assistant - Rapid Responder involves delivering urgent, practical care to individuals within the comfort of their homes. This role focuses on supporting clients who require immediate assistance, ensuring essential visits are managed effectively to maintain safety, comfort, and independence.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in homecare within Ireland
- Possession of QQI Level 5 certification in Health & Social Care
- Valid full driving license with access to a vehicle
- Proficient communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Flexibility to work alternate weekends

Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee staff shadowing and adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Manage emergency rapid response duties, including new package setups and client discharges
- Assess and monitor the quality of care provided, reporting concerns to the area manager
- Retrieve client journal notes from homes
- Deliver care plans, log sheets, gloves, and PPE to clients' residences as needed
- Perform additional reasonable tasks as assigned
