Position Overview
The Healthcare Administrator will be responsible for managing the administrative aspects of the healthcare facility. This role aims to ensure smooth non-clinical operations, adherence to healthcare regulations, and seamless collaboration between clinical and support teams, all contributing to superior patient experiences and operational success.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the daily administrative functions within the healthcare facility.
- Create and enforce operational policies and administrative procedures.
- Coordinate patient administration, appointment scheduling, and related support services.
- Track operational key performance indicators and patient service outcomes.
- Oversee departmental budgeting and allocation of administrative resources.
- Ensure full compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Manage vendor contracts and facility support services.
- Compile and present operational reports for senior management.
- Contribute to strategic planning and initiatives to improve healthcare services.
- Drive patient satisfaction initiatives and uphold standards of operational excellence.
- Lead, develop, and evaluate performance of administrative personnel.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least 7 years of experience in healthcare administration roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong leadership qualities and excellent organizational abilities.
- Experience managing cross-functional administrative teams.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
