Optimatum Solutions LLC is seeking a motivated Health & Welfare Consultant who thrives in an entrepreneurial setting and desires to make a significant impact. As a Health & Welfare Consultant, you will utilize your expertise in HR and employer-sponsored health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs, including knowledge of vendors, operations, and systems. You will collaborate closely with the Client Services Team to design and implement innovative strategies that deliver measurable value in HR and benefits. This position offers substantial autonomy, end-to-end project ownership, and the opportunity to shape both client outcomes and business direction.

Responsibilities
- Examine HR and employee benefits data, encompassing employer-sponsored health & welfare and retirement plans, self-insured plan costs, stop-loss coverage, and plan documentation.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, regulatory compliance enhancement, and process improvements.
- Deliver findings and actionable insights to both internal teams and external clients.
- Support project management to ensure timely and effective client deliverable execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher mandatory.
- Over 7 years of professional experience in HR/Employee Benefits plans, programs, and vendors, covering both Employer-Sponsored Healthcare and Retirement programs.
- Prior experience in consulting or advisory roles is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Advanced skills in data analysis.
- Excellent client service skills with timely and effective communication.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Outstanding organizational and planning capabilities to meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong integrity in all work aspects.
- CEBS certification pursuit is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
The position offers a competitive annual salary range between 100000 and 145000 USD depending on various factors such as skills, experience, education, and location. Additional Information
This is a full-time, onsite opportunity based in New York, NY. Successful candidates may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses based on performance and other organizational factors.
