Job description
Role Overview
Alsnaded for Security Service is seeking a dedicated Health Safety Environment (HSE) Officer to join their team on a full-time basis in Riyadh. This role demands careful supervision of daily operations to guarantee adherence to established health, safety, and environmental standards and legal requirements.
Key Duties
- Perform routine workplace inspections and conduct thorough risk assessments to detect hazards.
- Recommend effective corrective measures to minimize risk and prevent incidents.
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans tailored to operational needs.
- Lead safety briefings and deliver targeted training to foster compliance and awareness.
- Maintain comprehensive records of incidents, assessments, and remediation efforts.
- Partner with management and operational teams to strengthen safety culture across the organization.
- Support investigations into accidents and near-miss incidents, ensuring detailed reporting and analysis.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess expertise in health and workplace safety, including risk identification, control implementation, and promotion of safe work methods.
- Knowledgeable in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices with experience ensuring environmental compliance.
- Understanding of occupational health principles, including ergonomic considerations and preventive strategies to safeguard employee health.
- Holding formal safety certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent qualifications validating competency in managing safety and regulatory compliance.
- Strong communicator with proficiency in training delivery, report preparation, and engaging diverse groups on HSE issues.
- Experienced in conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and establishing corrective and preventive measures.
- Familiar with both local and international HSE regulatory frameworks applicable to security services and facility operations.
- Educational background comprising a diploma or bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; prior practical experience within security or facilities management is advantageous.
