Its workforce network covers petroleum and drilling engineers, geologists, geophysicists, wellsite supervisors, mud engineers, and other key technical specialists.
Role Summary
This position is for an on-site Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Coordinator in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on putting health, safety, and environmental policies into practice and ensuring they are followed across operations and project locations in line with local regulations and internal standards.
Key Duties
- Carry out risk reviews, workplace inspections, and compliance audits across operational and project areas.
- Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors, then recommend practical corrective and preventive measures.
- Support the rollout and monitoring of HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
- Plan and deliver safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness activities for employees and contractors.
- Lead or support incident investigations, compile reports, and track follow-up actions until closure.
- Work with teams across the organization to encourage safe working practices and stronger HSE awareness.
Candidate Profile
- Applicants must be Saudi nationals.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 5 years of experience working in HSE is needed.
- Hands-on exposure to health and safety practices in industrial or energy-sector settings is important.
- Experience in delivering safety training, toolbox talks, and HSE inductions to mixed groups is expected.
- Knowledge of incident investigation, reporting, and corrective action tracking is required.
- Strong communication and people skills are necessary to influence safe behavior at all levels.
- Experience in oil and gas, energy, or industrial operations within Saudi Arabia or the GCC is a plus.
- Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or similar credentials are preferred.
