About the Role
Join Alignerr to contribute your public health expertise in training AI systems to provide reliable health information. As a professional with a background in public health, epidemiology, or health policy, you will play a vital role in helping AI understand complex health issues, impacting how disease, policy, and population health are interpreted by AI for years ahead.
Responsibilities
- Develop intricate public health scenarios that involve disease outbreak simulations, assessments of health equity, interpretation of biostatistical data, and health policy analysis.
- Create authoritative, evidence-based solutions referencing peer-reviewed studies and guidelines from respected organizations such as CDC and WHO.
- Review AI-generated content for correctness, potential bias, ethical adherence, logical consistency, and identify misinformation or gaps in health explanations.
- Provide detailed feedback to improve AI reasoning, helping the model differentiate correlation from causation, clearly communicate health risks, and address diverse populations appropriately.
Requirements
- Possess a master’s degree in Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), or a closely related graduate field.
- Have a strong understanding in at least two of the following: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy.
- Demonstrate ability to translate complex health data into clear, accurate, and culturally appropriate written communication.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, focusing on statistical significance, citing reliable sources, and logical intervention strategies.
- No prior experience with AI is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data annotation, quality assurance, or coordinating research projects.
- Familiarity with data analysis software such as R, SAS, or Stata.
- Background in health communication, clinical research, or public health monitoring.
