Job Overview
The Health Officer / Nurse will provide essential primary healthcare, emergency response, and occupational health services throughout Al-Qadsiah Club's facilities, including stadiums, training grounds, gyms, and offices. This position supports the HSE Department in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all individuals associated with the club.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer first aid and basic medical care to employees, players, and visitors.
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies during training sessions, matches, and events.
- Evaluate injuries and illnesses, determining the necessity for further medical attention or emergency services.
- Maintain and regularly inspect first aid kits, medical supplies, and emergency equipment.
- Conduct basic health assessments and monitor employee health as needed.
- Assist in the implementation of occupational health programs and preventative health initiatives.
- Support return-to-work evaluations after illness or injury.
- Monitor workplace health risks and report findings to the HSE Manager.
- Participate actively in emergency response planning and drills.
- Coordinate with external emergency services during incidents.
- Ensure medical emergency response procedures align with HSE policies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records according to data protection standards.
- Ensure adherence to local health regulations and club policies.
- Prepare health-related reports for HSE management.
- Conduct basic first aid and health awareness training for staff.
- Promote hygiene, infection control, and wellness programs within the club.
- Support HSE campaigns focused on occupational health and well-being.
- Monitor hygiene standards in all club facilities, including locker rooms, kitchens, and public areas.
- Assist in implementing infection prevention and control measures.
- Provide guidance to management on public health best practices, especially during events and large gatherings.
Requirements
- Possess a valid professional nursing license recognized by the local regulatory authority.
- Have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in clinical or occupational health settings.
- Hold certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
- Experience working in sports facilities, industrial sites, or large organizations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety standards is preferred.
- Demonstrate strong emergency response capabilities.
- Possess effective clinical assessment skills.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of occupational health practices.
- Showcase excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
