THE WELL Bay Harbor Islands is a 13,000-square-foot wellness property in Bay Harbor Islands, set away from the pace of central Miami. It brings together luxury fitness, recovery, treatment, and lifestyle amenities under one roof, including a Bath House with Miami’s first caldarium, a halotherapy steam room, an Infrared and Sound Dome, vitality treatment rooms, fitness studios with daily programming, and a fresh juice and organic snack bar. The space serves residents, office tenants, members, and guests with the goal of making wellness central to everyday life.

Role Summary
The part-time Health Coach acts as a wellness guide, accountability partner, and concierge for members and guests. This person delivers coaching, consultations, assessments, and care coordination that help people build tailored wellness plans and make lasting lifestyle changes. The role also serves as the main coaching contact for participants in THE WELL’s physician-led medical program and works closely with practitioners across fitness, spa, wellness, and east-meets-west medical services.
Reports to: Director of Wellness
Supervises: No direct reports
Key Responsibilities
The position includes coaching members through their wellness journey, coordinating integrated care, maintaining documentation, and supporting exceptional service standards.
Additional Information
This role supports self-guided wellness offerings such as Hyperbaric Chamber and Light Therapy by following protocols, orienting members, and helping ensure safe use. The job also calls for continued learning in wellness, functional medicine, and longevity trends, along with the ability to take on additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
Applicants should bring formal health coaching training, relevant hands-on experience, and the ability to work in a member-focused, flexible environment. The role requires strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills, plus comfort using electronic medical record systems.
Preferred backgrounds include advanced nutrition or dietetics credentials, experience with physician-led or functional medicine programs, additional wellness training, hospitality or luxury wellness exposure, and bilingual ability, especially Spanish.
