Job description
The Role
As a Cleaner at Soho House, you help keep the club spotless, inviting, and hygienic for both members and staff. Your eye for detail, professional manner, and commitment to quality contribute to the venue’s consistently high standards of presentation and care.
You will partner with the Housekeeping and Facilities teams to keep all member and back-of-house spaces clean, replenished, and ready for use during the day. This includes lounges, washrooms, changing rooms, offices, and event spaces.
Key duties
- Carry out everyday cleaning across assigned areas, including floors, surfaces, toilets, and shared spaces.
- Disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as handles, counters, and rails on a regular basis.
- Top up essentials like soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and sanitising supplies.
- Assist with scheduled deep cleans and other periodic maintenance tasks when needed.
- Keep cleaning tools and materials stored, maintained, and organised safely.
- Escalate any repair needs, safety concerns, or low stock levels to the supervisor.
- Act promptly and discreetly when dealing with spills, accidents, or urgent cleaning needs.
- Follow all hygiene, health and safety, and COSHH requirements.
- Interact politely and professionally with members and colleagues at all times.

The ideal candidate will have up to 2 years of experience in a busy, high-profile setting and bring a strong standard of service. You should be dependable, approachable, and comfortable working as part of a team focused on delivering excellent results.
Desirable experience
- Prior work in a professional cleaning position, ideally in hospitality, offices, or public-facing venues.
- Understanding of cleaning methods and hygiene procedures.
- Confidence using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and floor scrubbers.
- Ability to work on your own with a self-starting approach.
- Solid time management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of COSHH and safe chemical handling.
- Experience working in luxury settings or busy venues with high footfall.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late shifts, or weekends.

Compensation
The pay rate for this role in the UK is £14.50 per hour. Pay may differ in other locations depending on local market conditions.
