This part-time remote opportunity is for a Health Care Specialist who will examine and validate health care provider credentials and licensing details. The work centers on confirming professional qualifications through regulatory sources and helping maintain compliance quality.
What You Will Do
- Check health care professionals’ credentials against official licensing records.
- Verify that provider information aligns with state and federal compliance requirements.
- Record verification outcomes in internal systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Spot missing information or inconsistencies in licensing documents and escalate issues for review.
- Handle confidential provider data carefully and in line with HIPAA privacy standards.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Prior experience in health care credentialing or compliance review.
- Working knowledge of state and federal licensing rules for health care providers.
- Comfort using credentialing databases and compliance tracking platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify documentation mismatches.
- Understanding of HIPAA and data privacy practices is an advantage.
