Overview
Xpress Health is currently seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to join their healthcare division. This role is ideal for those with a background in Irish healthcare looking to take on additional shifts or pursue a new career path.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience working in Irish healthcare settings.
- Possession of QQI Level 5 certification or an equivalent qualification in Healthcare Support.
- Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with patients and colleagues.
- Compassionate and dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for others.
- Approachable and tactful demeanor.
- Skilled in manual and people handling techniques.
- Knowledge of infection prevention protocols.
- Certified in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Understanding of elder abuse prevention and safeguarding measures.
- Familiarity with Children First guidelines.
Additional Details
Flexible work hours including day, night, and weekend shifts with 12-hour shift schedules. Flexitime is offered to accommodate varied availability. Applicants must be authorized to work in Ireland. Driving ability is queried as part of the application process.
Compensation and Benefits
