Job description
Role Overview
The Health Care Assistant will provide personal care and support to clients within their own homes across South Tipperary. This role involves delivering care in accordance with individual care plans, with an emphasis on preserving client dignity, comfort, and overall wellbeing.
Work Locations and Employment Options
Positions are available full-time and part-time across multiple locations including Clonmel, Tipperary Town, and Carrick-On-Suir.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with personal care and daily activities tailored to each client’s needs at their residence.
- Adhere strictly to individual care plans to ensure effective care delivery.
- Maintain clients' dignity, comfort, and promote their wellbeing throughout all care duties.
- Deliver care services aligned with company policies and quality standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess QQI Level 5 certification in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, or Healthcare Support modules.
- Alternatively, have minimum one year of practical caregiving experience coupled with readiness to complete the required QQI Level 5 modules.
- Hold a full driving license with access to a car to facilitate travel between clients.
