About the employer

The service supports adults with neurological conditions and neuro-disabilities such as brain injuries and Huntington’s disease, as well as people living with complex mental health needs and spinal injuries.
This is a role for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference every day while working in a supportive environment with opportunities to learn, grow, and progress.

- Encourage participation in social activities inside and outside the home.

What we’re looking for
Previous care experience or formal qualifications are helpful, but they are not required for this position. The most important thing is that you reflect Exemplar Health Care’s values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success, and teamwork.
You should be someone who is caring, kind, calm, and understanding, with the confidence to handle difficult situations when needed. A positive attitude, energy, and strong listening and communication skills are also important.
If you are new to care, you will be supported through induction, a buddy system, and ongoing training from the start.
