Role overview
Electus Healthcare is hiring a caring and committed Health Care Assistant for a part-time, on-site position at Edgewater Nursing Home on Sunnydale Avenue in Donaghadee, Northern Ireland. This role is a chance to support residents directly, contribute to their wellbeing, and work within a team that values compassionate care and professional growth.

Role responsibilities
- Deliver personal care in a respectful and caring manner, including support with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Help residents retain as much independence as possible in their daily routines.
- Observe residents for changes in condition or wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Spend meaningful time with residents through companionship and activity-based engagement.
Candidate profile
The employer is looking for people who are kind, empathetic, and comfortable working as part of a team. Prior care experience is preferred but not mandatory, as full training will be provided. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, is important for this position.
