Job description
Role Overview
The Health and Safety Technician will help drive workplace safety by supporting the rollout of health and safety processes, monitoring adherence to standards, and assisting with prevention and improvement activities at the Tashkent site.
Key Duties
- Help put health and safety policies and procedures into practice.
- Carry out safety walkthroughs, audits, and risk evaluations.
- Check compliance with local legal requirements and internal company rules.
- Review incidents and contribute to follow-up corrective measures.
- Keep health and safety records updated and prepare related reports.
- Support the planning and delivery of safety training and awareness initiatives.
- Promote correct PPE usage and readiness for emergencies.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in health and safety is preferred; exposure to FMCG or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of health and safety regulations and ISO 45001 is important.
- Hands-on familiarity with risk assessment and incident investigation workflows is needed.
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and reporting, are expected.
