Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled Health and Safety Supervisor with a Master's degree and at least three years of experience in safety management. This position supports the overall safety framework within the factory by enforcing safety policies, performing inspections, and ensuring full compliance with legislative standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee health and safety policies and procedures.
• Regularly perform safety inspections and conduct risk evaluations.
• Investigate workplace incidents thoroughly and prepare detailed reports including actionable corrective measures.
• Conduct safety training sessions and employee induction programs.
• Ensure adherence to Ghana's Labour Act and relevant safety regulations.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date safety documentation and records.
• Assist in emergency preparedness planning and execute safety drills.
• Communicate and coordinate with regulatory authorities during safety inspections.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• At least three years of experience working in safety management roles, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Ghana's safety laws and international safety standards.
• Holding certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH is advantageous.
• Strong abilities in communication and report preparation.
