About the Role

Peninsula is a certified Great Place to Work, known for building a culture where people feel trusted, recognised and empowered to contribute. Supported by one of the world’s largest privately owned business services groups, the company is a strong presence in HR, employment relations, and health and safety advisory.

The business supports many thousands of organisations across the ANZ region, helping them manage people and workplace safety with confidence. With strong financial backing, a long track record of growth and innovation, and expanding demand for its services, the Health & Safety Advisory team is growing further. This role sits within that team and works closely with the Head of Health & Safety and wider colleagues to deliver omni-channel support to clients.

Peninsula also highlights clear career pathways, offering opportunities to build a long-term career in health and safety advisory, management, training, and related areas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice to clients by handling enquiries through phone and email, and tailoring solutions to their health and safety needs.
  • Prepare important compliance documents such as SWMS and SOPs so clients can stay confident and compliant.
  • Keep up with current regulations and industry developments to ensure advice remains accurate, practical and up to date.
  • Record all client interactions carefully and accurately to maintain a high standard of service and follow-through.

Requirements

  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in health and safety.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety legislation and practices, supported by a minimum Cert IV in WHS.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex requirements in simple terms.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to respond quickly to client needs.
  • Good time management and the ability to manage several tasks in a busy environment.

Perks and Benefits

  • Increase to 25 days of annual leave after completing 2 years with the company.
  • Annual profit-sharing bonus.
  • Super Service and MVP recognition awards worth $1,000, plus an extra day off.
  • Structured growth opportunities, including pathways into management, training and other senior roles.
  • Health and wellbeing support, including a $250 voucher, gym discounts and other benefits.
  • Monthly social club events to help teams stay connected.
