The team supports young people at different stages of their careers and personal lives through meaningful activities, resources, and opportunities that help them move toward their goals.
Working with a wide network of collaborators that includes unions, companies, and public agencies, Young NTUC delivers support across areas such as career exploration and guidance, workplace protection, leadership growth, mental wellness, and overall personal development.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic guidance to shape and execute programmes and initiatives that strengthen Young NTUC’s visibility and grow youth membership.
- Lead the development, nurturing, and long-term maintenance of external partnerships that broaden Young NTUC’s reach among young people and bring in capabilities, services, and resources that help scale its work.
- Support the outreach and engagement team in delivering programmes and initiatives jointly with external partners.
- Oversee daily programme and partnership operations, including stakeholder engagement, relationship management, budgeting, activity tracking, and outcome measurement.
- Handle other assigned duties related to programmes and partnerships, including collaboration within the NTUC network and engagement with government-related organisations.
Requirements
- A degree in any discipline is required.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience is preferred.
- Strong project and resource management abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple assignments and maintain high-quality output under tight timelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal ability.
- Willingness to work some weekday evenings and Saturdays.
- Sound understanding of youth issues, especially the concerns and realities faced by IHL students and first-jobbers.
