Job description
Role overview
ENVE Composites is looking for a seasoned technology leader to guide the company’s next stage of growth as it expands globally. This is a strategic leadership position, not a conventional IT manager role. The right person will connect business goals with practical technology plans, build and mentor teams, and turn business needs into scalable solutions.
You will have responsibility for both internal IT operations and software engineering capabilities, including enterprise applications, ERP direction, web development, data warehousing, and business intelligence. You will work alongside technical specialists who manage the day-to-day infrastructure and support activities.
ENVE Composites, headquartered in Ogden, Utah, designs and manufactures premium carbon fiber bicycle components and bikes. Since 2007, the company has focused on innovation, precision, and high-quality products in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Shape the technology roadmap in partnership with executive leadership.
- Lead enterprise systems, ERP strategy, and related business applications.
- Oversee internal IT operations and broader technology support functions.
- Guide web application development, data warehousing, and business intelligence work.
- Provide direction on cybersecurity governance and risk management.
- Support technology initiatives across U.S. and international operations.
- Manage and coordinate internal staff, consultants, vendors, and external technology partners.
- Remove operational blockers and ensure technology investments align with business priorities.
- Help improve the company’s ability to scale through better systems, processes, and technical enablement.
Success measures
- Build a technology strategy that can support global growth.
- Strengthen the ERP environment and related business systems.
- Advance data warehouse and BI capabilities.
- Develop strong IT and engineering teams.
- Improve cybersecurity and governance practices.
- Identify practical ways to use AI and automation.
- Create technology foundations that support long-term expansion.
Ideal candidate profile
- You enjoy leading skilled technical professionals while enabling subject matter experts to do their best work.
- You can convert business challenges into workable technology solutions.
- You understand how ERP systems support manufacturing, finance, operations, and sales.
- You prefer looking at the full system rather than isolated tools or platforms.
- You like developing people and building high-performing teams.
- You can communicate effectively with executives, engineers, and developers alike.
- You know when to get into technical details and when to delegate to specialists.
Working conditions
- This is a full-time role with a Monday through Friday schedule of 8 hours per day.
- Occasional longer days, weekend work, or alternate shifts may be needed about 1 to 2 times per year.
- Regular on-site presence is required; this position is not remote.
- The work environment includes office settings and occasional time in warehouse or manufacturing areas.
- The role may require lifting up to 20 lbs and performing physical tasks such as standing, bending, and reaching.
Compensation and benefits
The annual salary range is $155,000 to $165,000, depending on experience.
- 120 hours of paid time off each year
- 96 hours of paid holidays each year
- Medical coverage options, including PPO with FSA or QHDHP with HSA, plus prescription, dental, and vision benefits
- Company-paid life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability
- 401(k) plan with employer match
- Paid parental leave
- Professional development opportunities
- Employee discounts on ENVE products
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- At least 10 years of progressive technology leadership experience, including leading technical teams and cross-functional efforts.
- Proven experience creating and delivering enterprise technology strategy in a complex business setting.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and their role in manufacturing, finance, supply chain, and global operations.
- Experience overseeing enterprise technology areas such as business applications, enterprise systems, digital platforms, or IT operations.
- Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and lead high-performing technical teams while working with vendors and external partners.
- Success working with executive leadership to turn business goals into technology outcomes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Systems-thinking mindset with an understanding of how people, processes, applications, and technology connect to business results.
Preferred background
- Experience supporting global or multi-site operations.
- Exposure to manufacturing environments.
- Background in cloud platforms, cybersecurity governance, or business continuity planning.
