Head of Supply Chain for MAE Business Unit

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced professional to head our supply chain operations, overseeing the entire process from sales and operations planning (S&OP), procurement, ocean freight shipment to local logistics, ensuring efficient and seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with corporate goals and market requirements.
• Establish and optimize the warehousing and distribution network from ground zero to meet customer demands, balancing cost, speed, and service quality.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain processes including sales & operations planning to maintain healthy inventory levels and improve turnover rates.
• Oversee procurement of finished goods from Midea's factories in China and other international locations.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations such as customs clearance and transportation partner management while driving continuous cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead and build a new supply chain team, offering guidance and support to maximize performance.
• Work in collaboration with the headquarters supply chain team and cross-departmentally to ensure operations are aligned with overall company strategy.
• Implement digital supply chain tools in partnership with HQ to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and risk mitigation practices within supply chain functions.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in supply chain management.
• Proven leadership capability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills enabling solid relationships with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Adaptability to operate successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
