About Revolut

Revolut aims to give people greater control, better visibility, and more freedom over their money. Founded in 2015, the company offers a wide range of financial products covering spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and more, serving more than 75 million customers globally.

The business has grown quickly and now includes over 13,000 team members working across offices and remotely. Revolut has also been recognised as a Great Place to Work™, reflecting its focus on employee experience, strong culture, and building simple solutions to complex problems.

About the Role

This position leads strategy and operations for wealth and trading, with responsibility for building and running the day-to-day operating model. The focus is on keeping trading activity smooth, controlled, and scalable for millions of customers.

The role requires designing processes and controls that improve efficiency, reduce incidents, and support regulatory as well as client money obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate wealth and trading operations with global teams.
  • Set up and maintain strong first-line controls, including maker-checker checks, reconciliations, exception handling, and access and entitlement controls.
  • Work closely with Customer Support, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to support regulatory reporting, transaction reporting, and client money and safeguarding requirements.
  • Take part in risk assessments, audits, and regulatory reviews, then create action plans and remediation steps.
  • Lead investigations and fixes for operational incidents, near misses, and customer-impacting issues, including root-cause analysis and long-term preventive actions.
  • Define, monitor, and report operational KRIs and KPIs to senior leadership in a clear and actionable way.
  • Support the evaluation, onboarding, and ongoing management of operational partners such as brokers, custodians, middle-office providers, and data vendors.
  • Ensure contractual commitments and operational dependencies are clearly understood and actively managed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of operations experience in a securities business, such as fintech or brokerage.
  • Strong understanding of the full trading lifecycle and post-trade processes across multiple asset classes, including equities and ETFs.
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and validating operational controls.
  • Working knowledge of Australian or regional brokerage regulatory requirements, or the ability to learn and apply new regulatory frameworks quickly.
  • Confidence working with data and basic tools such as Excel, BI platforms, and SQL.
  • Ability to perform well in fast-moving, high-growth environments while balancing competing priorities.

Nice to Have

Experience with fixed income, derivatives, FX, or funds would be an advantage.

Additional Information

This is a remote role based in Australia and is offered on a full-time basis.
